Title: a. RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve and authorize the Director of Health to sign a three-year Mental Health Services Agreement with Peacock Acres, Inc. for transitional supported housing services in the amount of $176,028 for Fiscal Year (FY) 2012-13, $176,028 for FY 2013-14, and $176,028 for FY 2014-15, for a total Agreement in the amount of $530,184; and

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
Since Fiscal Year 2006-07, the Monterey County Health Department, Behavioral Health Bureau, has contracted with Peacock Acres, Inc. for the provision of supported transitional housing for young males (ages 16 to 21) who are participating in one of Behavioral Health’s Juvenile Justice treatment programs, including those discharged from the Probation Department’s Youth Center.
