a. Approve and authorize the Director of Health or Assistant Director of Health to execute a Memorandum of Understanding with San Antonio Union School District to implement the Interconnected Systems Framework and provide mental health support services to students effective retroactively to July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2025; and
b. Approve the non-standard insurance provision in the Agreement as recommended by the Director of Health; and
c. Approve and authorize the Director of Health or Assistant Director of Health to approve up to three (3) future amendments to the Memorandum of Understanding that do not significantly change the scope of services.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve and authorize the Director of Health or Assistant Director of Health to execute a Memorandum of Understanding with San Antonio Union School District to implement the Interconnected Systems Framework and provide mental health support services to students effective retroactively to July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2025; and
b. Approve the non-standard insurance provision in the Agreement as recommended by the Director of Health; and

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
The County was awarded a Mental Health Student Services Act (MHSSA) grant through the Mental Health Services Oversight and Accountability Commission (MHS OAC) to provide mental health support services in Monterey County public schools.
