Closed Session under Government Code section 54950, relating to the following items:
a. Pursuant to Government Code section 54956.9(d)(2), the Board will confer with legal counsel regarding two matters of significant exposure to litigation.
b. Pursuant to Government Code sections 54956.9(d)(2) and 54956.9(d)(4), the Board will confer with legal counsel regarding one matter of significant exposure to litigation and/or potential initiation of litigation.
c. Pursuant to Government Code section 54956.9(d)(1), the Board will confer with legal counsel regarding existing litigation:
(1) Z.S. and M.S., minors by and through their Guardian Ad Litem Geraldine Sumagang, et al. v. County of Monterey, et al. (U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California Case No. 5:22-cv-04164-NC)
(2) Jane DOE #2 v. County of Monterey, et al. (Monterey County Superior Court Case No. 22CV003323)
d. Pursuant to Government Code section 54956.9(d)(4), the Board will confer with legal counsel regarding one matter of potential initiation of litigation.
e. Pursuant to Government Code section 54956.8, the Board will confer with real property negotiators:
(1) Property: Sidewalk on private property - Tembladera Street, Castroville (APN 030-156-002)

Negotiating Parties: Castroville Self Storage LLC (LLOC Manager Barbara French) and Owner’s Surveyor - Dave Edson, Central Coast Surveyors.
