RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Economic Development Committee (“Committee”):
Consider providing a recommendation to the Board of Supervisors for the following applicant:
a) Support the appointment of Keith Severson to the Committee as the Construction Sector member.
SUMMARY:
The primary purpose of the Economic Development Committee is to advise the Board of Supervisors on appropriate economic development policies, programs, and activities to ensure a Countywide perspective in support of a diversified economy, higher paying jobs and an expanded revenue base for local government services, while preserving and protecting the County’s agricultural, tourism and education economic base in collaboration with cities.
Keith Severson
Keith Severson is interested in serving as construction sector position of the Committee. He currently serves as the Director of marketing and community affairs for Granite Rock Company. He would like to serve on the Committee because he would like the opportunity to help maintain and improve the unique and beautiful county he currently lives and works in.
