RECOMMENDATION:
Approve and accept the County of Monterey Animal Control Program Advisory Board (ACPAB) Annual report covering the period of July 1, 2020, through June 30, 2021.

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
The Monterey County Animal Control Advisory Board was established in 1990. The ACPAB reviews and evaluates the County's animal control program needs, services, facilities, and budget; advises and assists in public information and public relations activities of County Animal Services; and reports its findings and recommendations to the Board of Supervisors through the Director of Health.

The County of Monterey ACPAB Bylaws requires the Advisory Board to submit an Annual Report to the Board of Supervisors. The report is a written summary of the Advisory Board's activities covering the period of July 1, 2020, through June 30, 2021.
