Consider recommending that the Monterey County Water Resources Agency Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve Amendment No. 1 to the First Amended Professional Services Agreement with EPC Consultants, Inc. to extend the term of the agreement from October 31, 2018 to October 31, 2019 and eliminate the requirement to go before the Capital Improvement Committee for Amendments; and
b. Authorize the General Manager to execute the Amendment.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Monterey County Water Resources Agency Board of Directors recommend that the Monterey County Water Resources Agency Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve Amendment No. 1 to the First Amended Professional Services Agreement with EPC Consultants, Inc. to extend the term of the agreement from October 31, 2018 to October 31, 2019 and eliminate the requirement to go before the Capital Improvement Committee for Amendments; and
b. Authorize the General Manager to execute the Amendment.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
On March 20, 2017, the Monterey County Water Resources Agency Board of Directors approved the First Amended Professional Services Agreement with EPC Consultants, Inc. for the continuation of Program Management Services, the term of the agreement to expire on October 31, 2018. On April 11, 2017, the Monterey County Water Resources Board of Supervisors approved the First Amended Professional Services Agreement with EPC Consultants, Inc.
This Amendment No. 1 to the First Amended Professional Services Agreement extends the term of the agreement and eliminates the requirement to go before the Capital Improvement Committee for Amendments to the Professional Services Agreement.

FINANCING:
There is no financial impact in extending the term of the Agreement.
