RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Capital Improvement Committee receive a Status report on the Job Order Contract Program from the Resource Management Agency supporting Public Works and Facilities projects for the period ending March 2020.

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
The Capital Improvement Committee (CIC) requested to receive quarterly reports on the Job Order Contracting (JOC) program managed by the Resource Management Agency (RMA) supporting Public Works and Facilities projects. The Projects within this report include projects from the 2018 and 2019 JOC program year.

Attachment A reports the number of Facilities and Public new projects and supplemental Job Orders issued Notice to Proceed (NTP) in FY 2019/2020 Quarter three (3). Facilities issued NTP for 10 new projects and three (3) supplemental Job Orders for jobs issued NTP this reporting period and nine (9) supplemental Job Orders for projects issued NTP during previously reported quarters for a total of 22 Job Orders. In total, Facilities had $53,970.84for Gordian License Fees (JOC Fees) and $55,397.39 for project management (JOC Plus Fees) for a total construction contract amount of $1,079,416.45. Public Works issued NTP for four (4) new projects and three (3) supplemental Job orders for projects issued NTP during previously reported quarters for a total of 7 (seven) Job Orders. In total, Public Works had a total of $30,309.95 in Gordian License Fees (JOC Fees), no use of JOC Plus, for a total construction contract amount of $606,199.12.

In Summary, for Facilities and Public Works for FY 2019/2020, quarter three, there were a total of 25 Projects, 29 Job Orders and 91% of the Job Orders had a minimum of 50% local employees working on County projects. There is a total of $84,280.79 in Gordian License F...
