RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Monterey County Water Resources Agency Board of Directors:
a. Approve Amendment No. 6 to the Master Energy Services Agreement with VIASYN, Inc., to extend the Agreement period through June 30, 2021, Fiscal Year 2020-21 in order to provide continued energy scheduling coordination services and financial settlement for the Nacimiento Hydroelectric Facility under its Power Purchase Agreement; and
b. Authorize the General Manager to execute the Amendment.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
VIASYN, Inc. has provided energy scheduling coordination and financial settlement services to the Monterey County Water Resources Agency (Agency) for the Nacimiento Hydroelectric Facility under the Agency’s Power Purchase Agreement since July 1, 2013.
This Amendment No. 6 continues the services of VIASYN, Inc., and will extend the term of the contract through the Fiscal Year 2020-21.

Funds to support Amendment No. 6 are available in Fund 130 - Hydroelectric Plant Operations.
