a. Approve and authorize the Executive Director of the Monterey County Workforce Development Board and the Chair of the Board of Supervisors to sign an Agreement between the Monterey County Workforce Development Board (MCWDB) and the Monterey/Santa Cruz Building Trades Council Training and Education Fund for provision of Senate Bill 1 (The Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017) Pre-Apprenticeship training and placement services, and
b. Approve and authorize the Executive Director of the MCWDB to sign up to three (3) amendments to the Agreement, subject to County Counsel review, that reflect increases or decreases in funding levels of up to 10% ($28,460), so long as the amendments do not substantially change the terms of the Agreement

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve and authorize the Executive Director of the Monterey County Workforce Development Board and the Chair of the Board of Supervisors to sign an Agreement between the Monterey County Workforce Development Board (MCWDB) and the Monterey/Santa Cruz Building Trades Council Training and Education Fund for provision of Senate Bill 1 (The Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017) Pre-Apprenticeship training and placement services, and
