RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Directors of the East Garrison Community Services District receive a report on the meeting schedule selection by the East Garrison Community Services District Advisory Committee for the 2021 calendar year.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
On October 17, 2017, the Monterey County Board of Supervisors, acting as the Board of Directors of the East Garrison Community Services District (EGCSD), adopted Resolution No. 17-383 (Attachment A), establishing an Advisory Committee and By-Laws for the EGCSD.
The By-laws include, in part, requirements governing the setting of meetings for the EGCSD Advisory Committee. Section 5 Meetings states:
"The Committee, at its initial meeting, shall organize by selecting a time and place to meet at least four times each calendar year. All meetings shall be open to the public. The time and place to meet that is established by the Committee at its first meeting shall be presented by the Resource Management Agency to the Monterey County Board of Supervisors, acting as the Board of Directors of East Garrison Community Services District, at a meeting of the Board following initial meeting..."
At its November 10, 2020 EGCSD Advisory Committee meeting, the Committee set the following regular meeting dates, time, and location for calendar year 2021:

November 10, 2021
