RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
Approve the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the Monterey County Counsel Employee Association (MCCEA) Unit G for the period of July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2021.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
On October 16, 2019, MCCEA Unit G ratified a Tentative Agreement (TA) with the County of Monterey. The TA was considered and approved by the Board of Supervisors on October 22, 2019 in closed session.
On February 23, 2021 Unit G signed and return the finalized MOU and the full MOU is presented for formal approval action today.
The MCCEA Unit G MOU provides for changes to wages and benefits as presented.
OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT:
MCCEA Unit G members and County of Monterey staff contributed to the development of the MOU as presented
FINANCING:
The Office of the County Counsel absorbed the annualized cost of the MCCEA agreement in FY 2019-20 and FY 2020-21budgets.
