a. Approve and Authorize the Contracts/Purchasing Officer, or his designee, to execute Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement with Blue Strike Environmental for garbage pick-up services at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, adding food waste service and authorizing storage space with no change to the term of the agreement (July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2024) and no change to the not to exceed amount of $625,000; and
b. Authorize the Contracts/Purchasing Officer, or his designee, to execute up to three (3) future amendments to this Agreement where the total amendments do not exceed 10% ($62,500) and do not significantly change the scope of work.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve and Authorize the Contracts/Purchasing Officer, or his designee, to execute Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement with Blue Strike Environmental for garbage pick-up services at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, adding food waste service and authorizing storage space with no change to the term of the agreement (July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2024) and no change to the not to exceed amount of $625,000; and

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
This request supports the use of Blue Strike Environmental (Blue Strike) for garbage pick-up and services for WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca (WRLS). The use of Blue Strike's service is vital to the overall success of events held at WRLS.
Amendment No. 1 amends the original Agreement dated June 26, 2019 to add food waste services to WRLS when any type of cooking is done onsite. In addition, should Blue Strike require storage space to accommodate items relating to the service they provide to Laguna Seca Recreation Area and WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, County shall provide space for a 10' x 20'...
