Consider approving and adopting the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025-26 Groundwater Monitoring Program  
Regulatory Fees of $160.16 per well for Initial Well Registration, $21.86 per well for Annual Well  
Registration Renewal, $64.82 per well for Groundwater Extraction Reporting, $117.68 per well for  
Groundwater Level Monitoring, and $73.92 per well for Groundwater Quality Monitoring.  
Ara Azhderian, General Manager made opening/closing remarks with Amy Woodrow, Senior  
Water Resources Hydrologist both from the Water Resources Agency presented via PowerPoint  
presentation.  
Piret Harmon shared her support.  
Open for public comments; Mike Weaver, Christopher Bunn, Nancy Isakson and Margie Kay  
commented.  
The original motion was made by Supervisor Wendy Root Askew, seconded by Supervisor Luis A.  
Alejo, as amended, to:  
Approve and adopt the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025-2026 Groundwater Monitoring Program Regulatory  
Fees of $160.16 per well for Initial Well Registration, $21.86 per well for Annual Well Registration  
Renewal, $64.82 per well for Groundwater Extraction Reporting, $117.68 per well for Groundwater  
Level Monitoring, and $73.92 per well for Groundwater Quality Monitoring. Funding help to  
support the initial registration fee for those wells that need assistance registering.  
A substitute motion was made by Supervisor Chris Lopez, seconded by Supervisor Luis A. Alejo  
to:  
Delay this matter by one month and continue it to Tuesday, July 8, 2025, staff to clarify guidelines  
of program and research how other wells are doing this:
