Public hearing to consider action on a Use Permit to allow the removal of six Coast live oak trees.  
Project Location: 27497 Schulte Road, Carmel Valley  
Proposed CEQA action: Find the project qualifies for Class 4 Categorical Exemption pursuant to  
Section 15304 of the CEQA Guidelines  
Anna Quenga, project planner, presented this item.  
Public Comment: Eric and Krista Tarantino (applicant)  
Decision: The Zoning Administrator found that the removal of 6 Coast live  
oak trees qualifies for a Class 4 Categorical Exemption pursuant to Section  
15304 of the CEQA Guidelines and none of the exceptions listed in Section  
15300.2 apply; and approved a Use Permit to allow the removal of 6 Coast live  
oak trees with non-substantive changes to the findings and evidence, and the  
addition of the standard Notice of Report condition related to the tree report.
