Authorize the Chief Executive Officer for Natividad Medical Center (NMC) or his designee to execute renewal and amendment No. 3 to the agreement (A-13141) with InfoImage of California for medical billing services, extending the agreement an additional one (1) year (July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024) for a revised full term of January 1, 2016 through June 30, 2024, and adding $30,000 for a revised total agreement amount not to exceed $390,000.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended the Board of Supervisors:
Authorize the Chief Executive Officer for Natividad Medical Center (NMC) or his designee to execute renewal and amendment No. 3 to the agreement (A-13141) with InfoImage of California for medical billing services, extending the agreement for an additional one (1) year (July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024) for a revised full term of January 1, 2016 through June 30, 2024, and adding $30,000 for a revised total agreement amount not to exceed $390,000.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
InfoImage provides services to NMC which includes the mailings of patient statements for services rendered. InfoImage aligns and mails statements to patients on a daily basis.
OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT:
The Office of County Counsel has reviewed and approved this renewal and amendment No. 3 as to form, and the Auditor-Controller has reviewed and approved as to payment provisions. The renewal and amendment No. 3 has also been reviewed and approved by NMC’s Finance Committee on August 11, 2023, and by its Board of Trustees on August 11, 2023.
FINANCING:
The cost for this renewal and amendment No. 3 is $30,000 which is included in the FY 2023-24 Adopted Budget.
BOARD OF SUPERVISORS STRATEGIC INITIATIVES:
InfoImage services provides patients itemization details of services received while seen at NMC. Patient reimbursements are made from statements received. These services help NMC deliver high-quality patient care.
