a. Approve and authorize the County Administrative Officer, or designee, to sign an agreement with TRANSAGRO Consulting to continue providing Spanish interpretation and translation services for the Board of Supervisors meetings, for a term retroactive to April 2, 2024 through June 30, 2027, for an amount not to exceed $50,000; and
b. Authorize the County Administrative Officer, or designee, to sign up to three (3) future amendments to this agreement, extending time, where the amendments do not significantly change the statement of work or add additional funds.

RECCOMENDATION:
a. Approve and authorize the County Administrative Officer, or designee, to sign an agreement with TRANSAGRO Consulting to continue providing Spanish interpretation and translation services for the Board of Supervisors meetings, for a term retroactive to April 2, 2024 through June 30, 2027, for an amount not to exceed $50,000; and
b. Authorize the County Administrative Officer, or designee, to sign up to three (3) future amendments to this agreement, extending time, where the amendments do not significantly change the statement of work or add additional funds.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
Approval of the recommended action will enable the County to provide a reliable source of Spanish interpretation and translation services for the Board of Supervisors meetings. This serves our community as our population holds a majority of Spanish speaking constituents. This also allows for access and transparency to the counties business.
OTHER AGENCY INVOLEMENT:
County Counsel has reviewed and approved this request.
FINANCING:
Funds for these services are contained within the approved budget allocations for the Clerk of the Board.
