SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
NMC strives to offer the highest quality care and best outcomes to patients and their families. At
same time, the organization promotes professional development and continuous skill acquisition
among staff for the betterment of the community. One way we achieve this at NMC is to support
clinical affiliation agreements with colleges and universities for specific clinical programs that
suit the needs of the organization and the community. NMC would like to initiate an
affiliation agreement with Boise State University for the Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program.
This program can benefit NMC in terms of talent acquisition following completion of clinical
rotation to help fill vacant positions for Nurse Practitioners and other advance practice roles.
OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT:
The Office of County Counsel has reviewed and approved this Amendment No. 1 as to form, and the Auditor-Controller has reviewed and approved as to payment provisions.
FINANCING:
There is no cost associated with this Student Placement Agreement.
