SUMMARY:
This project includes a Lot Line Adjustment between two parcels located off Lonoak Road, east of King City, with both properties being subject to a Williamson Act contract. Staff has reviewed the plans and materials and is requesting more time to work with the applicant on the parcel legality determination. The two lots in question were originally part of pattens and land grants in the late 1800’s. Portions of land grants have been divided over the years and it is unclear at this time how and when the lots were created in their current configuration (prior to the lot line adjustment). Time is needed to obtain and review the chain of title for these properties to ensure that the two parcels proposed to be adjusted were created consistent with the rules in place at the time they were created.
For this reason, staff recommends that the Board continue the hearing on this matter to January 14, 2025.
