Before the Board of Supervisors in and for the
County of Monterey, State of California
a. Approve and authorize the Sheriff to submit a joint application
with the City of Salinas to the federal government under the
U.S. Office of Justice Planning, Bureau of Justice Assistance
BJA) Edward Byrne Memorial Local Justice Assistance
Grants JAG) in the amount of $39,520; and
b. Authorize the County Administrative Officer to sign the
attached Memorandum of Agreement for the grant with the
City Manager of Salinas.
Upon motion of Supervisor Salinas, seconded by Supervisor Armenta, and carried by those
members present, the Board hereby:
a. Approved and authorized the Sheriff to submit a joint application with the City of Salinas to
the federal government under the U.S. Office of Justice Planning, Bureau of Justice
Assistance BJA) Edward Byrne Memorial Local Justice Assistance Grants JAG) in the
amount of $39,520; and
b. Authorized the County Administrative Officer to sign the attached Memorandum of
Agreement for the grant with the City Manager of Salinas.
