a. Approve Amendment No. 6 to Professional Services Agreement No. A-11286 with Wood Rodgers, Inc. to provide tasks associated with Interpretive Signage and Community Outreach Services for the Monterey Bay Sanctuary Scenic Trail - Moss Landing Segment, Project No. 8668, in the amount of $86,830 for a total amount not to exceed $1,819,408, for a term to June 30, 2016; and
b. Authorize the Contracts/Purchasing Officer to execute Amendment No. 6 to Professional Services Agreement No. A-11286, and up to three (3) future amendments that do not significantly alter the scope of work or change the approved Agreement amount.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve Amendment No. 6 to Professional Services Agreement No. A-11286 with Wood Rodgers, Inc. to provide tasks associated with Interpretive Signage and Community Outreach Services for the Monterey Bay Sanctuary Scenic Trail - Moss Landing Segment, Project No. 8668, in the amount of $86,830 for a total amount not to exceed $1,819,408, for a term to June 30, 2016; and
b. Authorize the Contracts/Purchasing Officer to execute Amendment No. 6 to Professional Services Agreement No. A-11286, and up to three (3) future amendments that do not significantly alter the scope of work or change the approved Agreement amount.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
Amendment No. 6 to Professional Services Agreement (PSA) No. A-11286 with Wood Rodgers Inc. allows for pre-planning, community outreach and coordination, and development of interpretive signage for the Monterey Bay Sanctuary Scenic Trail (MBSST) - Moss Landing Segment. Amendment No. 6 will increase the PSA in the amount of $86,830, for a total amount not to exceed of $1,819,407.79, for a term to June 30, 2016. Attachment A provides a summary of the PSA to date. Exhibit A summarized why additional costs and delays were not foreseen.
OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT:
The Office of the County Counsel, and Auditor-Controller, have reviewed and approved Amendment No. 6 as to form and legality, and fiscal provisions, respectively.
FINANCING:
There is no financial impact to the General Fund. The total estimated project cost is $8,737,851 of which the Resource Management Agency-Public Works staff has secured $4,348,938 in Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient and Transportation Equity: A Legacy for Users (SAFETEA-LU) funds and 2% Transportation Development Act (TDA) grant funds. Amendment No. 6 will be funded with secured grant funds. The amount of unsecured funding is $4,388,913 and staff continues to actively pursue other funding sources. Sufficient appropriations are available in the RMA-Public Works Road Fund (Fund 002, Unit 8195) to finance Amendment No. 6.
