a. Approve and authorize the Library Director or Library Assistant Director to sign Amendment #1 to non-standard agreement with California Internet, L.P. dba GeoLinks, approved July 23, 2019 for $31,800, extending the term by two years (July 31, 2024 to July 31, 2026) and increasing the not-to-exceed amount from $50,000 to $81,600; and
b. Approve and authorize the Library Director or Library Assistant Director to sign two additional one-year future Amendments provided they do not substantially change the scope of work and that each Amendment shall neither increase the contract by more than 10% of its amended value if approved ($8,160) nor increase the total contract amount above $89,760.

RECOMMENDATION:
a. Approve and authorize the Library Director or Library Assistant Director to sign Amendment #1 to non-standard agreement with California Internet, L.P. dba GeoLinks, approved July 23, 2019 for $31,800, extending the term by two years (July 31, 2024 to July 31, 2026) and increasing the not-to-exceed amount from $50,000 to $81,600; and
b. SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
These services will enable the County to ensure a reliable source of Internet access for the community members of Parkfield and Big Sur. The extended Agreement will begin August 1, 2024, and terminate July 31, 2026, with an option to extend the Agreements for two additional one- year periods in accordance with the terms and conditions of each Agreement. This request will authorize the Library Director or the Library Assistant Director to sign future amendments in accordance with the terms and conditions set within each Agreement. This Amendment takes the aggregate amount for this Vendor to $81,600.
OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT:
County Counsel has reviewed and approved the Amendment as to form.
FINANCING:
Funds for these services are contained within the approved budget allocations of the department utilizing the services. Expenditures will depend on the actual services requested by the County.
