a. Approve Amendment No.4 between the County of Monterey Fleet Management, and Salinas Valley Collision Repair, to extend the term of existing auto repair services, for an additional three (3) months April 1, 2020 to June 30, 2020 at an increased cost not to exceed $230,000 for the extended three- month period, resulting in a revised total contract amount not to exceed of $1,230,000; and
b. Authorize the Contracts/Purchasing Officer or Contracts/Purchasing Supervisor to sign and execute Amendment No. 4.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve Amendment No. 4 between the County of Monterey Fleet Management, and Salinas Valley Collision Repair to extend the term of existing auto repair services, for an additional three (3) month term of April 1, 2020 to June 30, 2020 at an increased cost not to exceed $230,000 for the extended three- month period, resulting in a revised total contract amount not to exceed $1,230,000; and
b. Authorize the Contracts/Purchasing Officer or Contracts/Purchasing Supervisor to sign and execute Amendment No. 4
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
On June 10, 2013, Monterey County Fleet Management, entered into an agreement with Salinas Valley Collision Repair based on their expertise and capabilities to provide auto body repair services for Monterey County Fleet Management to service County of Monterey Vehicles in accordance with County policies and State laws, for a term of six (6) years for the period of June 10, 2013 to July 1, 2019. The parties renewed and amended the original participating agreement on December 16, 2020 to extend the term to continue with required services to service county vehicles and allow sufficient time to complete the pending Request for Quotes (RFQ) #10751 for future auto body services going forward.
Fleet Management wishes to continue to retain the services of Salinas Valley Collision Repair. Fleet Management is recommending Board approval to Amendment No. 4 to extend the Agreement between Salinas Valley Collision Repair, for the continuation of existing auto body repair services. Authority to enter into Amendment No. 4 is requested for an additional three (3) month term of April 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020, at an amount not to exceed $230,000, resulting in an overall contractual cap of $1,230,000.
OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT:
The Office of the County Counsel and the Auditor-Controller have reviewed and approved Amendment No. 4 as to form and fiscal provisions, respectively.
FINANCING:
Costs associated with the proposed Amendment No. 4 are included in the Fiscal Year 2019-20 Adopted Budget, Fund 001, Dept.1050, Unit 8451, Appropriation Unit CAO025. The current budget includes $1,230,000 for auto body repair services, which is adequate to cover costs associated with Amendment No. 4.
