Adopt a Resolution:
a. Accepting the Certificate of Completion for the construction of the State Route 68 at San Benancio Road Intersection Improvements, State Project No. EA 05-0H8220, Contract No. 10-111065, performed by GoodFellow Top Grade Construction, LLC (formally known as Top Grade Construction, Inc.); and
b. Authorizing the RMA - Director of Public Works to execute and record the Notice of Completion for the construction of the State Route 68 at San Benancio Road Intersection Improvements, State Project No. EA 05-0H8220, Contract No. 10-111065, performed by GoodFellow Top Grade Construction, LLC (formally known as Top Grade Construction, Inc.).

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors adopt a Resolution:
a. Accepting the Certificate of Completion for the construction of the State Route 68 at San Benancio Road Intersection Improvements, State Project No. EA 05-0H8220, Contract No. 10-111065, performed by GoodFellow Top Grade Construction, LLC (formally known as Top Grade Construction, Inc.); and
b. Authorizing the RMA - Director of Public Works to execute and record the Notice of Completion for the State Route 68 at San Benancio Road Intersection Improvements, State Project No. EA 05-0H8220, Contract No. 10-111065, performed by GoodFellow Top Grade Construction, LLC (formally known as Top Grade Construction, Inc.)
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
On March 22, 2011, the Board of Supervisors awarded a contract to GoodFellow Top Grade Construction, LLC (formally known as Top Grade Construction, Inc.) for construction of the State Route 68 at San Benancio Road Intersection Improvements, State Project No. EA 05-0H8220, Contract No. 10-111065, performed by GoodFellow Top Grade Construction, LLC (formally known as Top Grade Construction, Inc.) in the amount of $2,808,615.41. The Project consisted of adding a left-turn lane and widening the northbound approach on San Benancio Road. The Project was completed on time and on budget. This contract is now complete in all respects in accordance with the Plans and Special Provisions. The work is ready to be accepted by the Board of Supervisors.

Caltrans.
FINANCING:
There is no financial impact to the General Fund or Road Fund. The estimated total cost of the project, including engineering, environmental, right-of-way and construction, is $4,843,132. The project is funded by County Traffic Impact fees collected from developments in the Highway 68 corridor, TAMC Traffic Impact fees, State Transportation Improvement Program funds and State Minor A funds.
