a. Approve and authorize the Contracts/Purchasing Officer or his designee to execute an Agreement with Portobello’s Inc. for catering services at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca starting July 1, 2020 through December 31, 2022, for a not to exceed amount of $300,000; and
b. Approve and authorize the Contracts/Purchasing Officer or his designee to execute up to three (3) future amendments to this Agreement where the total amendments do not exceed 20% ($60,000) of the agreement amount and do not significantly change the scope of work.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve and authorize the Contracts/Purchasing Officer or his designee to execute an Agreement with Portobello’s Inc. for catering services at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca starting July 1, 2020 through December 31, 2022, for a not to exceed amount of $300,000; and
b. Approve and authorize the Contracts/Purchasing Officer or his designee to execute up to three (3) future amendments to this Agreement where the total amendments do not exceed 20% ($60,000) of the agreement amount and do not significantly change the scope of work.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
This request supports the use of Portobello’s Inc. for catering services during spectator events and track rentals at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca (WRLS). Caterers work directly with third party clients to create a budget, menu, and schedule. WRLS facilitates the third-party client and caterer meetings.
WRLS is responsible for paying the catering for three locations per event, Flagroom Hospitality, Individual Pit Row Suite Hospitalities, and the Rolex Drivers Club.
WRLS collects an 18% commission on all food and hard liquor sales to third-party clients and hospitalities.
OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT:
The Office of the County Counsel has reviewed and approved this agreement as to form.
FINANCING:
The cost of services provided by Portobello’s Inc. is not to exceed $300,000 for the duration of the agreement.
