RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
Seneca Family of Agencies dba Kinship Center provides mental health services with four (4) separate programs (D'Arrigo Outpatient Clinic, Adoption Preservation, Trauma Services and the newly formed King City Children's Clinic). The programs serve seriously emotionally disturbed children who are in foster care, require aid to adoption, or are in adoption preservation status. Kinship Center continues to provide mental health services to Monterey County and out-of- County Medi-Cal eligible youth, and their families through an array of programs. These services address the impacts of adoption on a child and his or her family and address permanency issues.
