Before the Board of Supervisors in and for the
County of Monterey, State of California
Agreement No: A-11195; Construction No: 2008CONST0005
a. Award a contract to Granite Construction Company, the lowest
responsible bidder, for construction of the Russell Road and Van
Buren Avenue Traffic Signal, Project No. 08-134965, State No.
SR2S-5944 080) in the total amount of $298,298;
b. Approve the performance and payment bonds executed and
provided by Federal Insurance Company;
c. Authorize a contingency not to exceed ten percent 10%) of the
contract amount for approved contract change orders; and
d. Authorize the Acting Public Works Director to execute the
contract.
Upon motion of Supervisor Salinas, seconded by Supervisor Armenta, and carried by those
members present, the Board hereby:
