RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Monterey County Water Resources Agency Board of Directors:
a. Approve Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement for Services with Management Partners to extend the term of the Agreement to June 30, 2021, for a dollar increase of $10,000.00, total contract amount not to exceed $107,300.00; and
b. Authorize the General Manager to execute the Amendment.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
On February 20, 2018, the Board of Directors approved the Agreement for Services with Management Partners in the amount of $94,900 for a comprehensive strategic planning process for the Monterey County Water Resources Agency (WRA) to be included in the FY 2018-19.
On March 5, 2018, the employee assessment and online survey proposal letter was executed and moved forward increasing the contract amount to $97,300.
Additionally, with the change in management and requested services from the Board of Directors, the scope of work has been revised requiring an increase in the total contract amount of $107,300.00.
Therefore, it is requested that the Monterey County Water Resources Agency Board of Directors approve Amendment No. 1 with Management Partners to continue services.
This item went before the Finance Committee on June 5, 2020 which supports the approval of the Amendment.

FINANCING:
Additional cost for the continued service from Management Partners is $10,000 and will come from Fund 111.
