RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Monterey County Water Resources Agency Board of Directors:
Approve Amendment No. 7 to the Professional Services Agreement with McMillen, Inc., (formerly McMillen Jacobs Associates dba McMillen) to extend the term of the agreement to June 30, 2025 to provide preliminary engineering and design services for the Interlake Tunnel and San Antonio Spillway Modification Project; and authorize the General Manager to execute the Amendment.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
In March 2017, the Monterey County Water Resources Agency ("Agency") entered into an agreement with McMillen, Inc. (formerly McMillen Jacobs Associates) to provide preliminary engineering and design services for the Interlake Tunnel and Spillway Modification Project ("Project").
The agreement with McMillen, Inc. includes a task for completion of a draft engineer's report ("Report") for the Project, which is ongoing. The term extension on the agreement is intended to allow for the additional time needed to prepare an administrative draft of the Report, respond to Agency comments on the draft, and develop a draft deliverable of the Report to fulfill the requirements of the Agency's grant from the Department of Water Resources for the Project.
Amendment No. 7 does not change the budget or scope associated with the Agreement.

FINANCING:
Funds from the Interlake Tunnel grant will be utilized to pay for services under the Agreement that is being amended.
