a. Approve and authorize the Director of Health or Assistant Director of Health to execute a Mental Health Services Agreement with Chamberlain's Youth Services for the provision of Short Term Residential Therapeutic Program services in the amount of $612,348 for Fiscal Year (FY) 2021-22, $612,348 for FY 2022-23, and $612,348 for FY 2023-24, for a total Agreement amount not to exceed $1,837,044 for the term July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2024; and
b. Approve and authorize the Director of Health or Assistant Director of Health to approve up to three (3) future amendments that do not exceed ten percent (10%) ($183,704.40) of the original Agreement amount and do not significantly alter the scope of services.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve and authorize the Director of Health or Assistant Director of Health to execute a Mental Health Services Agreement with Chamberlain's Youth Services for the provision of Short Term Residential Therapeutic Program services in the amount of $612,348 for Fiscal Year (FY) 2021-22, $612,348 for FY 2022-23, and $612,348 for FY 2023-24, for a total Agreement amount not to exceed $1,837,044 for the term July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2024; and

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
This new Mental Health Services Agreement with Chamberlain's Youth Services replaces Agreement A-13533 which will expire on June 30, 2021. Chamberlain's is a Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program providing residential and specialty mental health services including specialized and intensive care, support, and 24-hour supervision on a short-term basis for children and youth with complex and severe needs.
