Before the Board of Supervisors in and for the
County of Monterey, State of California
Agreement No: A 11810
a. Approve and authorize the Director of the Department of Social & Employment
Services, or his designee, to sign an agreement with Mexican American Opportunity
Foundation for $134,223 to provide funding for child care and development services
for children who are at risk of abuse, neglect, or exploitation, and are receiving child
welfare services from the County of Monterey for the period July 1, 2010 through June
30, 2013; and
b. Authorize the Director of the Department of Social & Employment Services, or his
designee, to sign up to three 3) amendments to this agreement, where the total
amendments do not exceed ten percent 10%) of the original contract amount, and do
not significantly change the scope of work.
Upon motion of Supervisor Parker, seconded by Supervisor Potter, and carried by those
members present, effective July 27, 2010, the Board hereby:
a. Approved and authorized the Director of the Department of Social & Employment Services,
or his designee, to sign an agreement with Mexican American Opportunity Foundation for
$134,223 to provide funding for child care and development services for children who are at
