Title: a. Approve and authorize the Director of the Department of Social Services to sign an Agreement with the National Council on Crime & Delinquency for $93,555, to provide access to the SafeMeasures reporting service for the Child Welfare Case Management System, retroactively to May 1, 2020 through April 30, 2022, including nonstandard indemnification and warranty provisions; and b. RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve and authorize the Director of the Department of Social Services to sign an Agreement with the National Council on Crime & Delinquency for $93,555, to provide access to the SafeMeasures reporting service for the Child Welfare Case Management System, retroactively to May 1, 2020 through April 30, 2022, including nonstandard indemnification and warranty provisions; and
b. Authorize the Director of the Department of Social Services to sign up to three (3) additional amendments to this Agreement where the total amendments do not exceed 10% ($9,335) of the contract amount, and do not significantly change the terms of the Agreement.

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
SafeMeasures is a unique and innovative internet-based subscription reporting service from the National Council on Crime & Delinquency (NCCD), a global nonprofit research organization. SafeMeasures uses analytics to help social services agencies achieve better outcomes, improve service, and operate more effectively. Child welfare and juvenile justice agencies use SafeMeasures to obtain detailed reports and other metrics created from nightly analyses of case management data.
