Title: a. Accept Victims of Crime Act (VOCA XC 22) grant funding from the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) in the amount of $222,870 for the provision of direct services to victims of crime in the County of Monterey, for the grant period of January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023; b. Authorize the County Administrative Officer, or designee, to execute a Renewal and Amendment No. 2 to the existing operational agreement, extending the term to December 31, 2023, and distributing a total of $222,870, for direct services delivery, with each of the following public and private entities: YWCA of Monterey County, CASA of Monterey County, Monterey County Rape Crisis Center, and the Seaside Police Department; and, c. Authorize the County Administrative Officer, or designee, to apply for, execute memoranda, amendments, or agreements, and administer documents to secure, receive, and distribute further funding from Cal OES for the grant period through December 31, 2023.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Accept Victims of Crime Act (VOCA XC 22) grant funding from the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) (Subaward XC22 05 0270, Cal OES ID 053-00000-18) in the amount of $222,870 for the provision of direct services to victims of crime in the County of Monterey, for the grant period of January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023;
b.
