It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:

SUMMARY/ DISCUSSION:
JDT Consultants, Inc. provides Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) to Monterey County Medi-Cal eligible children who meet criteria for medical necessity and Home Alternatives to Residential Treatment (HART) to Monterey County children who are receiving Special Education services through their Individual Education Plan (IEP) and have been identified by their IEP teams as being at imminent risk of residential treatment. TBS is an intensive one-to-one, face-to-face, short term outpatient treatment intervention for beneficiaries under age 21 with serious emotional disturbances who are experiencing stressful transition or life crisis and may be at risk of psychiatric hospitalization.
