Title: a. Approve and authorize the Director or designee of the Department of Social Services to sign an agreement with the Housing Resource Center of Monterey County to provide housing supports to families who are receiving child welfare services and who are experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness, for the period of July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025, in the amount of $459,121; and b. RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
The purpose of this agreement is to continue provision of the Bringing Families Home Program (BFH) in Monterey County. The BFH program provides rapid rehousing services to Monterey County families who are receiving child welfare services and who are experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness.
