RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
Approve and authorize the Director of Health to sign Amendment No. 1 to the mental health services agreement A-12492 with ODD-Fellow Rebekah Children's Home of California to increase funding for additional mental health services, board and care services, and add the Wraparound Program for FY 2013-14 in the amount of $582,429, FY 2014-15 in the amount of $1,066,549, FY 2015-16 in the amount of $1,066,549, for a revised total Agreement amount not to exceed $5,710,298 in the aggregate.

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
ODD-Fellow Rebekah Children's Home of California provides mental health services, day treatment, medication support, case management, Group Home RCL 14 Board and Care, and Residential Treatment Services to Monterey County Medi-Cal eligible youth in accordance with the client's individual education plan and other identified needs. The current contract census allows for two to five placements depending on the program. This Amendment will allow for an additional two placements. ODD-Fellow Rebekah Children's Home of California provides services to those who require the highest level of residential care. The goals for the services provided are to reduce inappropriate behavioral and/or psychiatric symptoms to a level of care whereby the youth can return home or move to a lower level of care.
