a. Approve and Authorize the Contracts/Purchasing Officer or Contracts/Purchasing Supervisor to sign Amendment #2, with Restorative Justice Partners, Inc, for $68,261.00 for a new not to exceed amount of $162,988.00 and extending the agreement one (1) year with a term ending date of June 30, 2021; and
b. Authorize the Contracts/Purchasing Officer or Contracts/Purchasing Supervisor to sign up to one (1) additional one (1) year amendment where the amendment does not significantly change the scope of work, and where the amendment does not increase the contract value more $75,000.00 per year for a for a maximum not to exceed amount of $237,988.00.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve and Authorize the Contracts/Purchasing Officer or Contracts/Purchasing Supervisor to sign Amendment #2, with Restorative Justice Partners, Inc, for $68,261.00 for a new not to exceed amount of $162,988.00 and extending the agreement one (1) year with a term ending date of June 30, 2021; and

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION :
The Monterey County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) request approval of Amendment #2 which increases the Agreement amount by $68,261.00 for a new not to exceed maximum of $162,988.00 and extends the term of the agreement one (1) year. MCSO started its pilot program with Restorative Justice Partners (RJP) in 2018, with a hope of providing inmates with a first-hand knowledge of how crime impacts their victims.
