RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
Authorize the Sheriff to sign a Municipal Law Enforcement Service Agreement with Santa Clara Stadium, The City of Santa Clara.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office request approval of this Services Agreement. Approval of this agreement will allow MCSO to assist in providing additional enforcement services for events taking place at the Stadium site and surrounding areas. MCSO personnel will continue to provide enforcement services to the County of Monterey during this time. Personnel assigned to assist Santa Clara will be volunteers working during their time off or after their normal work shift.
OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT:
County Counsel and Auditor Controller have reviewed.
FINANCING:
There will be no new net county cost to the FY 20-21 County General Fund.
