APPOINT SRIVIDYA SHANKAR TO THE CARMEL UNINCORPORATED/HIGHLANDS LAND USE ADVISORY COMMITTEE.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Planning Commission appoint Srividya Shankar to serve on the Carmel Unincorporated/Highlands Land Use Advisory Committee for a term ending June 30, 2028. This nomination was submitted by Commissioner Diehl, who serves as the Primary Commissioner Liaison for the committee.
DISCUSSION:
On December 11, 2025, Staff received a Statement of Interest from Srividya Shankar, expressing interest in serving on the Carmel Unincorporated/Highlands Land Use Advisory Committee. This Statement of Interest was reviewed by Commissioner Diehl.
Commissioner Diehl confirmed the nomination and requested that the item be placed on a future Planning Commission agenda for formal consideration.
