It is recommended the Board of Supervisors:
Authorize the Deputy Purchasing Agent for Natividad Medical Center (NMC) or his designee to execute Amendment No. 9 to the Agreement (A-11065) with Kronos, Inc., for software support and professional services at NMC, extending the Agreement an additional six (6) month period for a revised full term of November 20, 2007 through December 31, 2016 and adding $158,268 for a revised total Agreement amount not to exceed $2,855,426.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
On January 26, 2016 the Board of Supervisors approved Amendment No.8 to add 300 additional user licenses due to the increased number of hires since July 1, 2015. Natividad Medical Center is recommending that the Board of Supervisor approve Amendment No. 9 which will extend NMC's current agreement with Kronos and continue to allow NMC to utilize the Kronos system to monitor the Time Keeping, Attendance, Human Resource requirements for staff as well as to maintain the database to its optimum speed and functionality. This agreement is being extended for a period of six (6) months to allow NMC additional time to complete the implementation of the current Analytics project. Following completion of the current projects NMC will request a new agreement with Kronos in January 2017.
