SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
On April 6, 2011, an application was submitted to the Cal/EPA requesting participation by the Monterey County Health Department in Cal/EPA’s CUPA Electronic Reporting Grant (Attachment A). Based on the subsequent grant agreement provided by Cal/EPA and executed by both parties in August 2011, a grant was approved for $102,794.00 and an advance payment of $25,698.50 was distributed to the Environmental Health Bureau (Attachment B). The State is authorized to enter into such agreements per California Health & Safety Code Section 25404 et seq.
