It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors approve and Authorize the Director of Public Works, Facilities, & Parks to execute Amendment No. 1 to the Measure X Pavement Management Program Funding Agreement between the Transportation Agency for Monterey County (TAMC) and County of Monterey.

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
On January 23, 2018, the Monterey County Board of Supervisors approved the Measure X Pavement Management Program Funding Agreement between TAMC and Monterey County. The agreement allowed Monterey County to participate in TAMC's Pavement Management Program. In this collaboration, TAMC was responsible for contracting and overseeing the pavement management software acquisition and consultant services to develop the pavement management program for each individual participating agency. The recommended pavement management software program was the Metropolitan Transportation Commission's "StreetSaver" program.

As required by Measure X, agencies must have a pavement management program in order to receive Measure X funds.

Amendment No. 1 is to provide continued use of the StreetSaver program.

The Office of the County Counsel has reviewed the proposed Amendment No. 1 to the Measure X Pavement Management Program funding agreement as to form.
