RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
Approve and authorize the Contracts/Purchasing Officer or his designee to sign a Renewal and Amendment No. 1 to the County Standard Services Agreement with B&T Service Station Contractors to provide new fuel pump dispensers and POS system for the Track and Paddock at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, and extend the date of the Agreement through May 31, 2021, with no change to the not to exceed amount of $100,000.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
Approval of the recommendation will ensure WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca can offer credit card service to track renters and events at the new fuel pumps in the Paddock at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. The work is included in the original Agreement dated January 9, 2020, and effective through December 31, 2020.
The work was supposed to be completed on December 28, 2020 and the vendor was unable to complete the job due to weather conditions.
OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT:
The Office of County Counsel has reviewed and approved the Amendment as to form.
FINANCING:
The contract with B&T Service Station Contractors is funded through Fund 453 Laguna Seca Budget Unit 8536. Funding for the Agreement is included in the FY 2020-2021 Approved Budget. Approval of the recommended action will have no additional impact on the County General Fund.
