Title: a. RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors
a. Authorize the Director of Health or Assistant Director of Health to execute an Amendment No. 1 to the Mental Health Student Services Act ("MHSSA") Grant Agreement No. 21MHSOAC015 with the Mental Health Services Oversight and Accountability Commission ("MHSOAC"), to revise the payment schedule for the same amount of $3,999,979, for the same grant period September 1, 2021, through August 31, 2025; and

SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
The MHSOAC awarded the Monterey County Behavioral Health Bureau an MHSSA grant to expand access to mental health services, including campus-based mental health services for children and youth, and facilitate linkage and access to ongoing and sustained services.
