RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
Authorize the Auditor Controller to increase appropriations in the amount of $41,180.30 in Equal Opportunity Office Unit 1080-8066-001, Appropriation Unit EQU001 and decrease appropriations in the amount of $41,180.30 in Other General Expenditures Unit 1050-8039-001, Appropriation Unit CAO014.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
The adopted Budget for the Equal Opportunity Office in Fiscal Year 2012-13 included a contingency of $150,000 for investigative services and other associated expenses in 1050_8039 Other General Expenditures. The Equal Opportunity Office is requesting a $41,180.30 to increase appropriations in the Equal Opportunity Office budget to cover investigative expenses.
OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT:
The item went before the Budget Committee on June 24, 2013. The report has been reviewed by CAO-Budget Office.
FINANCING:
There is no impact to the General Fund. The increase in appropriations in Equal Opportunity Office Unit 1080-8066-001, Appropriation Unit EQU001 will be offset by a decrease in appropriations in Other General Expenditures Unit 1050-8039-001, Appropriation Unit CAO014.
