Title: a. Ratify and authorize the Director of the Department of Social Services or designee to sign an agreement with the Child and Family Policy Institute of California for Efforts to Outcomes software, retroactive to July 1, 2025 for the period of July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026, in the amount of $2,400; and                                        b. Authorize the Director of the Department of Social Services or designee to sign up to three amendments to this Agreement where the total amendments do not exceed 10% ($240) of the amended contract amount, do not significantly change the scope of work, and do not exceed the maximum aggregate amount of $2,640.

RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:

a. Ratify and authorize the Director of the Department of Social Services or designee to sign an agreement with the Child and Family Policy Institute of California for Efforts to Outcomes software, retroactive to July 1, 2025 for the period of July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026, in the amount of $2,400; and                                       

b. Authorize the Director of the Department of Social Services or designee to sign up to three amendments to this Agreement where the total amendments do not exceed 10% ($240) of the amended contract amount, do not significantly change the scope of work, and do not exceed the maximum aggregate amount of $2,640.

SUMMARY:
The Department is seeking to continue its use of the Efforts to Outcomes software to support our Family and Children Services Social Workers with identifying cases that meet a high-risk profile and support the Department with refining policies and procedures on preventing and responding to child maltreatment.
