a. Approve the Measure X Pavement Management Program Update 2025 Reimbursement Agreement with the Transportation Agency for Monterey County (TAMC) for a term effective the execution date of the Agreement through June 30, 2027, for an amount not to exceed $250,000; and
b. Authorize the Director of Public Works, Facilities and Parks (PWFP) or Director’s designee to execute the Reimbursement Agreement and future amendments to the Agreement where the amendments do not significantly alter the scope of work or change the approved Agreement amount.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. Approve the Measure X Pavement Management Program Update 2025 Reimbursement Agreement with the Transportation Agency for Monterey County (TAMC) for a term effective the execution date of the Agreement through June 30, 2027, for an amount not to exceed $250,000; and
b. Authorize the Director of Public Works, Facilities and Parks (PWFP) or Director’s designee to execute the Reimbursement Agreement and future amendments to the Agreement where the amendments do not significantly alter the scope of work or change the approved Agreement amount.
SUMMARY:
Approval of the Reimbursement Agreement with the Transportation Agency for Monterey County (TAMC) will allow the County of Monterey to participate in TAMC’s Pavement Management Program (PMP) update. This will assist the County in keeping its PMP current and stay in compliance with the Measure X Master Programs Funding Agreement (No. A-13665) with TAMC. Participating in TAMC’s regional effort will be more cost-effective than if the County were solely to procure services to update the PMP.
DISCUSSION:
On August 29, 2017, the Board of Supervisors approved a Master Programs Funding Agreement (FA) (No. A-13665) with TAMC regarding the allocation of Measure X funds. As required by this FA, the County and other local agencies must develop a PMP in order to receive Measure X funding.
