Title
a. Approve and authorize the County Purchasing Agent, or designee, to execute Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement with Community Human Services for operation of the Salinas Housing Advancement, Resource and Education (SHARE) Center, increasing the Agreement by $1,600,000 from the City of Salinas to a revised total of $3,200,000 and substituting $91,474 from Homeless Housing, Assistance and Prevention Round 6 to Homeless Housing, Assistance and Prevention Round 5 Rapid Rehousing Funds, with no change to the term ending June 30, 2027; and
b. Adopt a resolution to authorize and direct the Auditor-Controller to amend the Fiscal Year (FY) 2026-2027 Adopted Budget for the County Administrative Office to increase appropriations by $102,868 in 1001-105008-61000 (General Fund-Homelessness Strategies and Initiatives-Services and Supplies), supported by reimbursement of eligible SHARE Center expenditures from Permanent Local Housing Allocation Activity 6 funds administered by the County Housing and Community Development Department (4/5ths vote required by the Board of Supervisors); and
c. Approve and authorize the County Purchasing Agent, or designee, to execute up to two future amendments to the Agreement where the amendments do not exceed 10% ($320,000) and do not significantly alter the scope of services as determined by the Director of Homelessness Strategies and Initiatives and subject to approval by the Office of the County Counsel and do not increase the total contract amount over $3,520,000.
