a. Authorize the Chief Executive Officer for Natividad or his designee to execute the First Amendment to the Professional and Call Coverage Services Agreement (A-14763) with Joel Weinstein MD to provide general surgery services at Natividad, extending the term by twenty-four months (July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2024) for a revised full agreement term of July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2024, and adding $500,000 for a revised not to exceed amount of $1,300,000 in the aggregate; and
b. Authorize the Chief Executive Officer for Natividad or his designee to sign up to three (3) amendments to this agreement where the total amendments do not exceed 10% ($80,000) of the original contract amount and do not significantly change the scope of work.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors:
a. SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
Natividad must arrange for care and treatment of patients who present to the emergency department or outpatient clinic as well as hospitalized patients in need of medical care in the specialty of general surgery.
