RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors approve the Sheriff to accept a vehicle donation, 1997 Ford Cab Chassis, from the California Department of Justice.
SUMMARY/DISCUSSION:
The California Department of Justice would like to donate a vehicle, 1997 Ford Cab Chassis, VIN# 1FDKF38G5VEB76526 to the Sheriff's Office. The value of the vehicle is estimated at approximately $4,767. The vehicle will be used by the Sheriff's Investigations and Narcotics Division.
OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT:
The County Administrative Office - Contracts/Purchasing and County Counsel have reviewed this report.
FINANCING:
Approval of the recommended action will have no impact on the County General Fund Contribution.
