Before the Board of Supervisors in and for the
County of Monterey, State of California
Resolution No: 10 233
Adopt Resolution to approve the Extension Agreement of the
Memorandum of Understanding between the Monterey County
Registered Nurses Association Unit S) and the County of Monterey
for one year, effective July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011.
WHEREAS, the Monterey County Registered Nurses Association Association) Unit S)
and the County of Monterey have agreed to a Memorandum of Understanding regarding wages,
hours, and other terms and conditions of employment, which Memorandum of Understanding
expires June 30, 2010; and
WHEREAS, the Association and the representatives of the County have approved the
attached Extension Agreement dated July 1, 2010 to extend the current Memorandum of
Understanding for one additional year on the terms and conditions set forth in the Extension
Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Monterey County Board of Supervisors hereby resolved to
approve the attached Extension Agreement with the Association on the terms and conditions set
forth therein for the period July 1, 2010 to and including June 30, 2011.
PASSED AND ADOPTED on this 27th day of July, 2010, upon motion of Supervisor Potter,
seconded by Supervisor Armenta, by the following vote, to-wit:
AYES: Supervisors Armenta, Calcagno, Salinas, Parker, Potter
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
